I am Giuliana, but everyone calls me "Giuls." I am a fashion designer and in 2011 I opened my atelier and created "BeGiuls."

I was born and raised in the Florentine Oltrarno, a neighborhood historically known for its artisan "workshops," and I spent my childhood in a family where manual skills and creativity were always present in everyday life.

Around me everyone was creating something with their hands: father, aunt... but it was by observing my grandmother Adele's hands, intent on sewing, that I picked up the tools of the trade and never left them again.

Already from the first parties and evenings out with friends, not being able to find in the boutiques what I wanted, I began to design and make clothes with my own hands that identified perfectly with my idea of personalized and unique style and with original combinations, clothes that went beyond the boundaries dictated by the trends of the moment.

I sensed that, in the tailoring products, despite great craftsmanship, there was a lack of that special touch to keep the dress from falling into something already seen.
